Ms.Minaj gets glam for NYLON magazine in preparation for her album PINK FRIDAY which drops in stores November 23.
With her somewhat feminist lyrics she push's the envelope of what a lady may say out loud but unlike female rappers before her, she's created a brand that is all her own. Referring to herself as Barbie and encourages her followers on twitter to tweet shots of themselves in something pink every Friday to promote her new album she has created mini Minaj's all over North America. She celebrates her show stopping curves in her ghetto glam style and is in my opinion a strong female figure in popular music today, with designer shout outs in some tracks including Badgley Mischka & Giueseppe Zanotti. With her love of fashion and original sense of style you never know what may be in store. Expect lots from this hip hop-preneur, she's going fast and showing no signs of stopping. Roger That
