Calling all Photography Enthusiasts!

This Sunday come to Granville Island for a complimentary photography class by Carlos of 'Art of Headshots'

                                         
Learn everything from choosing a digital camera to master digital art.  Explore all possibilities from shooting( street photography, scenery or studio model body painted ), exposure, Photoshop, printing and digital art.


Have you always wondered how you can get consistently great pictures? Wanted an opportunity to shoot a professional model? Have your own pictures, on your wall.  All essentials will be covered allowing the participant to explore all possibilities for unlimited growth from hobbyist (someone who has never taken a photography course) to advanced enthusiast.

This is a very rare opportunity to attend a free photography class led by a renowned photographer. 

You will also be able to sign up for classes starting Sunday May 23rd (every Sunday for 4 weeks plus an additional photoshoot).  Each class is $98.00 for a total of $420.00...sign up for these 4 week classes though before April 25th and the total cost will be $325.00

{Be Inspired}

I've been spending more time than usual in my apartment lately especially since the weather has been ugly.  I was looking around the internet trying to find different things that inspire me for a new blog post.  As I was having a harder time than usual I found myself looking at my apartment.  Realizing I had to look no further than my own home.  Sometimes I find that what you're always searching the hardest for in life whether it be love, a job, inspiration, friends, success...you will find has been right in front of you the whole time.

These are the things in my apartment that inspire me...

Long Hair Don't Care Starlet - Sky Ferreira

Just this morning one of our favourite Waffles Girls Sky Ferreira released her video '17'.  In the video she reveals a rebellious and racy secret life of an American teenager - It's no Miley Cyrus video that's for sure.  Sky is an up and coming Hollywood starlet that is starting to make her claim to fame.  Her fearless fashion and persona go hand in hand with her sassy image and long sultry locks (which P.S. looks completely 'au natural').  On her new album you can expect to see work from a string of noteworthy producers including The Teddybears, Linda Perry, Greg Kurstin, and Swedish super producers Bloodshy and Avant.  There seems to be nothing but blue skies ahead for Sky Ferreira   Below is a screen shot from the video and a couple more photos The Cobra Snake  recently shot of her on a trip to New York.

Lilly Allen Exposed

In the January 2010 issue of Harper's Bazaar Russia Lilly Allen posed topless in an editorial.  The editorial has now inspired an illustration by David Bromley that will be on the cover of next months Harper's Bazaar Australia.  In the Russia photo shoot Lilly poses with a cigarette and you will notice David's creative omission of her cigarette on the Australia cover.  This is not the first time Lilly Allen has bared herself on the pages of a magazine.  She's said she sees herself as "a funny looking thing" but her boyfriend thinks that's a good thing...so does Karl Lagerfeld.  According to Unkle Karl he not only loves her "cheekiness, talent, and her little upturned nose" but her "perfect decolletage" as well.
